This model is heavily inspired from the WPL c14/c24 and the MN78 1:12 and 1:16 models. All parts were designed from the ground up with 3d printing in mind.
Features:
190mm wheelbase
full time 4x4
no printed gears
multiple motor options
infinite suspension heights / dampening rates
compatibility with some WPL parts and some MN accessories
The easiest way to print this project is by using the provided plates / .3mf files. They have the proper print settings applied to each individual objects. You might need to change your printer, if so make sure to transfer the settings over when you do so. Optionally split the larger plates into smaller ones.
General Print Settings for all the .stl files
0.15mm layer height
4 perimeters, 30% infill
PLA or PETG (tested both but axle-truss_x2.stl may be too fragile in PLA)
All files should be printed in the orientation they come with
Note:
Make sure you have excellent bed adhesion and that your printer is tuned correctly.
If you're having trouble with female driveshafts, try printing them one at a time.
What to print?
Print all the parts in plate_frame.3mf and plate_parts.3mf OR print all the parts in the base_stl folder. At the end of the filename is the amount of that part that needs to be printed.
Print either plate_wpl180_drivetrain.3mf/wpl180_drivetrain_stl or plate_mn260_drivetrain.3mf/mn260_drivetrain_stl depending on the motor you have.
Optionally print plate_opt.3mf or the content of optional_stl if you don't have a body yet.
