Solving a Common Issue with Hive Thermostat Installation
When replacing an existing thermostat with a Hive model, you might encounter a problem if the Hive wall plate is slightly too small for the standard UK single-gang back box. This can prevent it from fitting properly, even if you're using the original screw holes.
The Solution
This model addresses that issue by providing a larger mounting surface that covers the outer edge of the back box. This allows you to securely attach the Hive wall plate using the original screws, ensuring a neat and efficient installation.
