It’s a shower drain, what’s to tell. Remixed the original by removing the outer holes, resizing and adding new square

For years I used a copper replacement for our shower drain which didn’t fit. Since I purchased a Prusa Mini+ recently I thought it was a nice challenge to create a new one.

the original was to large and resizing did not give the right rest. So I did some major remixing in PrusaSlicer to create a custom version.

steps:

  1. Remove outer ring with holes, by rotating in 16th of a circle and slicing away
  2. resize to the right size
  3. add a new square outer part with a negative volume cylinder to fit part 1
  4. Slice part of the tube (was to deep)
  5. just for fun add a petg logo in case of recycling
  6. changed bottom layer to archimedic concentric infill to get a nice look

printed using black petg, with 20% infill and a draft wall (just to be sure and prevent warping)

works like a charm 🤓
