This is a tank mount for the BPX platform by Magfed Solutions (https://www.printables.com/@Magfed_Soluti_904971). This mounts a 13CI air tank to the top of the platform with a few features:

  1. This includes a top rail for mounting a sight (an example red dot sight is pictured here)
  2. This includes a side-insertion method for easily including and removing the tank
  3. This is designed for a Ninja universal fill adapter (such as goes on a remote line, like https://www.amazon.com/Ninja-Paintball-Universal-Fill-Adapter/dp/B001VRDV0M) connected to a 90deg macroline adapter, such as (https://ansgear.com/90-degree-macroline-fitting-swivel). Note that I have no affiliation with either link.

To build, you will need the following:

  1. 1- 5x16 (or 20)mm hex head machine screw + nut (for the front shroud mount to the BPX)
  2. 8- 5x12mm hex head machine screwx + nuts (for attaching the sight mount to the front shroud and support and for attaching the ASA mount to the support)
  3. 6- 5x20mm hex head machine screws + nuts (for attaching the ASA mount to the BPX and for attaching the ASA clamp to the ASA mount)
  4. 4- 3x6mm hex head machine screws for attaching the support to the front shroud
  5. 12- 3x10mm hex head machine screws for attaching the front shroud and support to the BPX
  6. 16- 3mm threading inserts for the 3mm screws to thread into
  7. 6 - BPX-CVR Clip (from https://www.printables.com/model/845346-bpx-betav2-top-rail) for mounting the parts to the rail

Print settings:

  1. PETG
  2. 15-20% infill
  3. 5-6 wall loops
  4. Auto tree supports
  5. 5mm brim (I used because I don't get great adhesion in my environment. Not needed if you do get good adhesion)
  6. I used a Bambulabs X1C, so get pretty tight tolerances. Most tolerances are in the range of 0.2mm - 1mm depending on the size and parts. So, judge accordingly.

Overall build instructions - the fitting together of parts should be pretty clear. The main thing is that this entire structure is designed to be fully built up (attached between parts), then slid onto the BPX and attached onto the BPX. That makes it easier to remove for stripping down.

This works well with (https://www.printables.com/model/1252585-buttstock-for-magfed-solutions-bpx) for the macroline routing.
