This model is used in conjunction with a top-mounted tank on the BPX to enable a compact, self-contained design. The recommended parts for this model are:

  1. 3- 5x20mm hex head machine screws with nuts
  2. 1- https://ansgear.com/90-degree-macroline-fitting-swivel
  3. Teflon tape (for connecting the macroline fitting to the TiPX remote adapter

I printed with the following settings:

  1. PETG
  2. Bambulabs X1C
  3. 15-20% infill
  4. 5 wall loops
  5. Auto tree support
  6. 5mm outer brim (I use this because my print plate tends to have adhesion issues in my environment. Not necessary otherwise).

This works well with (https://www.printables.com/model/1252599-top-tank-mount-with-rails-for-bpx) for routing the macroline to a top-mounted tank.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

This model includes the following changes:

  1. Extends the buttstock by 30mm
  2. Adds a hole up through the buttstock for a 90deg macro-line connector facing up
  3. Adds a hold through the center rear of the buttstock for direct access to the velocity adjustment screw

The hole up through the buttstock is the primary adaptation, as it enables attaching a tank to the top of the BPX more easily. A example macroline adapter that works with this is: https://ansgear.com/90-degree-macroline-fitting-swivel

Note that I have no affiliation with ansgear. This was just the macroline adapter that I found and put on the TiPX remote line adapter.
