A small 3.6cm (approx 1.5inch) ball to attach to the doorpull straps of a Citroën Ami or Opel Rocks-E (or the upcoming Fiat Topolino?).
Sick of having to need a firm grip on the door strap? Door flies open at the slightest gust of wind? This little attachment makes it easy to hold on to the strap and close the door of your Ami/Rocks-E.
The model has a flattened base to make it easy to print in upright position.
To install, just thread the strap through the ball, put the small bar through the loop of the strap, insert the bar with side plates facing up into the ball and pull the strap tight. Done!
Material choice is up to you. I'd advise PETG because of UV resistance.
Prints in good enough detail at 0.4mm line width and 0.2mm layer height.
If you want to smooth out the outside more, print with Arc support enabled (if your printer supports this!) and set the max deviation to 0.5mm.
Use supports, there's a small overhang inside the ball. Regular supports (not tree) work great for this.
I provide these STL's free for personal use. If you would like to sell prints based off my models (or just support me), please buy the models from my Cults3D account.
