The OEM spool holder for the CORE One would not accept my 250g SunLu TPU spools, so I replaced it with this. It bolts on using the four M3 screws from the original spool holder and four M3 nuts that slip into the slots in the base. Two lengths of standard PTFE tubing are pushed in the holes at the end (push in then cut to length) and provide smooth rotation.
I printed it base down, tabs on the build plate, with snug supports. Cleaning the supports from the slots for the nuts was a small hassle but not hard. You might try printing it base up (the way the model is oriented) and see how that works. You also might try excluding supports from the slots for the nuts and just bridging those.
When attaching it to the printer, I kept the nuts in the slots using painter's tape.
I printed it in Mystery Orange Jessie PLA using the unmodified (other than enabling supports) 0.20mm Structural profile on the CORE One with the stock 0.4mm HF nozzle.
The author remixed this model.
Adapted to Prusa CORE One, does not require original spool holder.
