This case allows for easy mounting and adjustment of a HC-SR501 PIR sensor. There are several optional shields that can be added during assembly. The shields are designed to alter the field of view of the sensor. The set includes a screw mountable base plate that acts as a dovetail mount for the adjustable base allowing for quick removal when needed. There are access holes for time and sensitivity settings and for a 3-wire ribbon cable.
Printing in PLA at 0.3mm layer height works well. There should be plenty of tolerance in the dovetail joints to allow them to slide on without being too loose. The default orientations work well with basic grid supports enabled for support enforcers located only on surfaces parallel to but not touching the build plate and in the domes of the shields. If you have any issues with bed adhesion on the narrow bits of the back cover and shields a brim should solve that.

The shields were designed to be added before the PIR is installed in the case. Once the PIR is in place the shield will not slide off. If you decide you want to add a shield later, or want the option of changing shields but would like to avoid removing the PIR you can split the shield before printing and slide the halves on without the need for any disassembly.
