This model allows construction of protective handles to be attached to an AT-6666Pro radio. They extend out from the radio far enough to provide some degree of protection to the front panel knobs. The handles also have a provision for adding a pair of “pegs” to elevate the front of the radio. The elevation improves audibility of the bottom mounted speaker and improves visibility of the front panel display.
The attached pictures are of an initial build. See the renderings for the current profile. The handles are approximately 280mm long. The model is split into two parts to permit printing with a smaller build plate. The handle haves are joined by 10mm M3 cap head screws, 4 in total. The handle model is symmetrical. Print two sets. Rotate as needed for leftside/rightside placement. Text should not be visible after mounting.
Fusion 360 source and .STEP files included as well as .STL files.
