When working with children on Arduino projects, I often use Grove sensors because they allow us to focus solely on programming without worrying that beginners might accidentally damage components by incorrect connections. With the Grove Protoshield, any sensor can be used and soldered onto the small board.
For transporting the Grove modules, I designed a small case. The lid can be easily adapted to accommodate a CO2 sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, a barometer, or a display, for example. For mounting, I use 2.2 mm x 6.4 mm TORX screws, which hold best in PETG.
I have created versions for both OpenSCAD and FreeCAD, allowing adjustments for different sensors.
