First off, the title is a lie. Of course you need stuff. But if you have a couple of rubber bands, some ca glue, a 2040 extrusion,  and some odd bolts laying around you're good.

You know how dragons love their hordes? I feel the same way about my spare printer parts. I made the Jo Presser and made it work even though I didn't have all of the right parts. Good design. No complaints. I did, however end up needing some of the v-rollers for what I was building. That got me thinking I didn't need all no stinking rollers and stuff.

An hour in tinkercad making speedholes and a new press was ready to be born.

This press is s.i.m.p.l.e. There's a test file. Use it to scale the x&y in your slicer so it moves as freely as you like. Once that's done and tested, use that scale to print the main parts.

Assemble as in the photos or however you want.  Super glue is my platonic friend to attach the slider to the arm and the arm to the clamp. Boom! No v-wheels, spacers, eccentric nuts, or nothin'! It all just pops on and off except the mount, but you can figure that out, smartypants. I used bolts to hold the bands in place, obviously, but you do you.

Look around for a soldering iron grip that matches what you have or just scale one you find up. There are too many options to model and all of that work is already done elsewhere by people better at this than I.

The soldering iron grip I used in this and the 90deg base mounts are from the Jo Presser so hit that model up for those parts. I upped the scale on the mount to 110% to fit my iron.

Best part, when you're done you can stash it away in one of those nice boxes you keep for when you need one just that size & never think about the parts on this press you might need later. You can finally show your significant other that keeping that box for 6 years was worth it.
