I was doing a IKEA TINGBY hack (putting some bamboo sheets around the tingby cabinet). I couldn't find any handles in IKEA that I liked so I decided to make my own.

Main features:

  • simple Scandinavian design with soft edges
  • Minimalistic look
  • Deep enough to give your fingers plenty of grip
  • Designed for M3 screw with heated inserts in the handle base

Materials:

  • Basic matt white PLA from Bambulab

I used 10 mm 3M screws to attach the handles to the bamboo sheet. I also included washers, since the bamboo sheet was flimsy and the washers added some studines to it.

Note: If you don't want to add heated inserts, fill the hole in the slicer and add a 8mm deep hole with a diameter of 2.6~2.7mm. If you have trouble with screwing, heat a screw with a lighter or soldering iron then screw it in.
