Finally managed to get a quick swap kit, and while the plate for the original toolheads and 10W toolhead lines up the original mount holes, keeping the focus length the same, not so for the other lasers. The 40W and 2W IR both slot down way lower for some reason. I don't know why Snapmaker chose to make them hang so low, but you lose height with it (25.5mm for the 40W, and a staggering 40.3mm for the IR)
I made these fillers to take up the extra space to re-align the original screw holes with the QS locking plate holes to bring them back up to the same height as being mounted directly via screws. It also brings the center of gravity back up to the linear rail instead of it hanging lower and causing more stresses on the rail connection.
Simply print at any layer height, slot into the groove, and mount the plate as usual.
