Use one model or the other depending on you fan

It is possible to check the fitting of the 5015 fan by printing the test parts:

  • Duct-test-org.stl for the original model
  • Duct-test-enlarged.stl for the enlarged model

Additional info regarding the fan powering : since the 5015 has more blowing
power, fan speed needs to be adjusted

This is possible under the slicer

I preferred another option: using a buck converter to reduce the voltage from
24V down to 10V. By connecting things as in the third picture, PWM speed
control still works correctly

My advices:
- Preferably use a buck converter with voltage display
- 5015 fan: I used a Sunon Maglev 24V, which accepts PWM control even when
powered at 10V (currently using it at 12V). Not completely silent, but far more silent than the original 4010

Thank to the designer for sharing this part

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Duct-V2-mod.stl is the original V2 model with a different fan fixing system (I have not printed this one, but provide it for convenience)

Duct-V2-hole-enlarged-mod.stl has the different fan fixing system but also an enlarged fan hole (required in my case for using a Sunon Maglev 24V 5015 fan)

Some modifications are also performed on the plate mounting holes
