Description

PDF

I (re-)created my cheap, mobile and small home cockpit which consists right now of a wooden box (50x46x15cm) standing on my right and a special holder for the Airbus Style Joystick and Tiller.

The main Pedestal consists of the Spoiler, Flaps and the Throttles.

These controls are connected to an Arduino Leonardo, which is acting as an HID.

Additionally, this Leonardo handles the Tiller (connected from “outside” over a DIN 5-pin cable and has a small plate for the calibration electronics and the dimmer for the “flood light”, as i do not use buttons etc. with backlit.

To get all modules connected over only one USB-Cable to the PC, there is an internal power supply, an active USB-Hub and a connecting plate added to the housing.

The other modules shown in the picture can be found over the corresponding links given in the PDF, where also are further information like the BOM, assembly instructions and so on.

But be aware about, that this is “Work in Progress” and there might be unnoticed changes or additions.

Update May, 5th. 2025

Update June, 14th. 2025
