People copying my model from Thingiverse and making out it's their own design, so I've added it here on Printables….
This is the second version of this project with a "fancier" bin and also the bin part is larger than the original.
Since I'm a relative newcomer to CAD and OnShape, this V2 uses some further functions in the design software that I have discovered/learnt.
This V2 bin uses the same mounting hardware as the original, so if you've already printed those 3 parts you don't need to reprint them.
The original version can be found here:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6876946
Removable bin, trash can, or storage for whatever you like, that clips onto the edge of your desk.
Simply slides up off the bracket when it's time to be emptied.
Designed with OnShape, you can copy the OnShape document from here if you want to mess around with the design (you'll need an OnShape account, but the good news... it's a CAD platform that's free for makers):

The length, width, depth of the bin is 160x135x120mm (original version with rectangular bin was 120x80x90mm). The desk bracket is suitable for desktop thicknesses of 17-42mm (using: "Desk Bracket"/"Bracket Screw"/"Screw Pad" combination, see below for other thicknesses/combinations).
EDIT 03/03/25
Added 2 parts:
1) "Bracket Screw longer", as was suggested for desks with thinner tops to mount to. The screw is 15mm longer than the standard, so should tighten down to a minimum of 2mm (2-42mm, using the standard "Desk Bracket").
2) "Desk bracket for screws", as requested, to mount the bracket directly to the side of a bench using wood screws, instead of clamping. Also added the recommended printer bed plate orientation to print this part. I would suggest a substantial brim to ensure adhesion to the plate.
EDIT 06/03/25
Added part:
1) "Desk Bracket upto 55mm", this would allow for desk thicknesses of 32-55mm using the "Bracket Screw"/"Screw Pad" combination, or 17-55mm using the "Bracket screw longer"/"Screw Pad" combination.
EDIT 14/05/25
Added part:
If you think the design is ok, hit the like button. Or if you've got some improvement ideas, or anything else, leave it in the comments.
If you print it, leave a pic in the Makes, I'd like to see it.

In your slicer, orient the bin part with its base on the print bed.
For the desk bracket, I printed with angled "slider" side facing up (straight "slider" facing the bed) and used a brim, as the surface area on the printer bed is quite small. For the other parts no rafts were used/needed.
