Hi!
Have you printed out a bunch of card grids for games like Carcassonne, Karak or Isle of Skye and now you're wondering how to keep them from getting lost? Try printing out this stand for them, which has a screw-on cap so the grids don't get messed up.
Originally created for 3x3 grid made by timqui, but it should work for any other grid you can find.
In the files you will find several stand heights depending on how many grids you have printed. You can choose the correct size by referring to the illustration on the right. The stand still has a little bit of margin in height so that the lid can be screwed on comfortably. On the photos you can see the stand in size M. | ![]() |
In my case, I printed from PETG. Anyway, since each material has different properties (and each printer is differently accurate), I have prepared test nuts, by which you can easily find out which cap to print (I'm using the one with 0.2 mm clearance).
Printing uses only about 23 grams of filament (+ another 5 grams if you print 4 test nuts).
I used the following settings for printing:

If you need to modify the model in any way, let me know!
Thanks a lot and happy printing!
