I made this for fastening 3mm thick polycarbonate panels to my hypercube evolution's 3030 extrusion to enclose it. I created holes in the panels with a 9/32" bit and obrounded them until the fasteners would just barely press through. That way, they will stay in place when the panels are removed. This allows me to take panels on and off my printer fairly quickly without tools. If you make the holes too wide they can fall out easily and not fasten the panels quite as tightly. I had a few spots that wound up that way, but overall they work well.

Category: 3D Printer Parts Print Settings

Supports: No

Notes:

Print in the orientation it loads in as.

I made mine out of PETG and used 4 perimeters and .2mm layers. Infill was set to a low value. -enough to support the top layers.

I placed the seam at the head of the part when I printed since that will likely be a weak point and should be kept away from the high stress areas. The opposite end would also be a good location.
