This quick print can be used to show off your Wordle score. An ID badge lanyard can be attached, securing the back in place. Its back is removable, so you can update your score daily.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm for the board and the rear, 0.2mm for the tiles
  • Vertical Shells: 3
  • Top/Bottom Layers: ≥5
  • Infill: ≥10%
  • Supports: Nope

You'll need one board, one back, and a bunch of the tiles. The exact amount of tiles will be dependent on your game play. I suggest starting with 15 of each color: black, green, white, and yellow (60 total).

The board can be tricky to print, so make sure you have excellent bed adhesion and slow down the first layer.

For my print, the board uses matte PLA and the back is carbon fiber PLA. The tiles are printed in regular PLA. The different surface textures really makes the tiles stand out!

Assembly

  1. Place the tiles into the board. Remember to reverse the order horizontally.
  2. Slide the rear into the board. Don't force it! Go slowly and make sure each tile is out of the way.
  3. Insert lanyard or ID snap holder into the hole at the top to secure the rear to the board.
