Please be aware that food safety is a complex topic and if you are storing food in 3d printed objects, you do so at your own risk.

How to print (recommended)

  • Scale: 100%
  • Nozzle: 0.6mm
  • All extrusion widths: 1mm
  • All layer heights: 0.25mm
  • Bottom shell thickness: 1.25mm
  • Print speed: 1st layer: 15mm/s, rest: 30mm/s
  • Print hot and slow with minimal cooling for good layer adhesion

How to print (advanced)

  • Scale: Size the model to your liking but don't forget to recalculate the extrusion width.
  • Use whatever settings you like.

Finishing touches

  • Sand the outside walls of the lid-neck and the inside walls of the pot neck area to smooth out layer lines.
  • With the 1mm gap lid: This will be a loose fit and probably won't need any sanding.
  • With the 0.75mm gap lid: Recommended. Needs some sanding and then fits nicely in the pot.
  • With the 0.5mm gap lid: Very tight fit. Needs a lot of sanding and will give the smoothest and tightest fit.
