Prusa Buddy Camera Mount for Tent-Style 3D Printer Enclosure

This sturdy and secure mount is designed specifically for the Prusa Buddy camera, providing a reliable solution for monitoring your 3D printer inside a tent-style enclosure. The mount easily clamps onto the 8mm tube of the enclosure, ensuring a tight and stable fit that won’t shift during use. This mount ensures that your Prusa Buddy camera is positioned for optimal visibility and performance within your 3D printer enclosure.

Notes:

• This is designed for a tent style enclosure like this. This model is designed for 8mm tubes, but I provided the Solidworks file if you need to modify this.
• The mount slides onto the tube and then clamps in place with 3 M3 screws.
• This uses Prusa's own Twist Lock mount, its a tight fit and I needed CA Glue to prevent rotation.

How to:

• Print this model “Tent Enclosure Mount”
• Print “MK_MINI_Twist_lock” from the Prusa camera mount
• Screw the Twist Lock onto Tent Enclosure Mount with an M3x8 or similar screw
• I would recommend putting some CA Glue between the two to prevent rotation
• Partially disassemble the enclosure so you can slide the Tent Enclosure Mount onto the PVC tube
• Slide the Tent Enclosure Mount onto the PVC tube and clamp down with 3 M3x8 Screws
• Place the camera on the mount and twist to lock it in place.

Print Settings:

• Layer Height: 0.2mm
• Infill: 15% - I used higher around the screwholes
• Supports: None
• Material: PETG recommended
