Hygrometer mount for cereal container

Why another Hygrometer holder for a cereal container?

I wanted a model that fit well.  Others have had to tune theirs or rely on hot glue.  Grip fins solve this problem.

For me, this has a satisfying click when inserting the hygrometer into the holder, and the grip fins provide enough flex for a friction fit.  To remove, twist the hygrometer as you pull it out.

Dimensions:

• Hygrometer face plate: 47.6mm x 28.5mm
• Hygrometer insert: 45.6mm x 26.75mm
• Cereal Box inner cup diameter: 56mm

Be gentle removing the part from the build plate.  The corners are small and delicate.  It is pretty robust once the hygrometer is installed.

Recommended print settings:

• 3 wall loops
• Wall generator set to ‘Arachne’ - this gives you 2 outer wall loops that are needed for strength for those delicate corners.

I also include STEP and Fusion 360 files to make it easy to alter.
