Core One X-axis/Y-axis Motor Pulley Assembly + Tool

I needed to replace a damaged X-motor in my Core One. You need install the pulley from the old motor to the new motor at the exact same height. With this helper is is really simple!

The model height is 0.8mm. I printed it in PLA, with 0.1mm layer height.

How to assemble the pulley on the new motor

First print the tool, get a sheet of paper and start drawing the shape of the tool. Paper is normally 0,1mm thick. It will allow us to raise the pulley by 0.1mm till we get the right height! Then it is easy to just tighten the screw of the pulley on the axle.

Cut it out.

Next measure the length from the tip of the motor axle to the pulley.

I need 3.9mm. Install the Pulley Helper Tool on the new motor.

Put on the pulley from the old motor and measure. If the lenght is too long, add a piece of paper till you have the correct one. Then tighten the pulley.
