I created an adapter ring to be able to install a widely used 7 inch headlight into the headlight bucket of a vintage BMW Airhead. 

The headlight bucket was in use from 1974 starting with the /6 all the way up to 1995 with the last R100.

the Adapter allows the install of the 7 inch headlight without modification to the Chrome ring or the headlight bucket. 

Slight modifications of the model might be necessary due to the large variety of 7 inch headlights on the market. The one seen in the picture is a Philips brand LED headlight adapted to the headlight assembly of a 1974 R90/6.

I recommend to print in TPU (I used TPU 95A in black) to give the adapter ring some flexibility and ability to conform to the chrome ring. 

I recommend to print with 5 walls, 5 top and 5 bottom layers, 25% Infill should be sufficient.
