Most other solutions make concentric rings around the brass and require you to mount each round individually and rotate the round by hand such as: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4789816 Effective but time consuming.

Eben3004 was thinking outside the box and came up with this solution: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4889050 It allows you to just press the rounds through the hub and watch them come out the bottom nicely marked. Vertical lines vs. rings.

I liked the concept but wanted to just mount it to my single stage reloading press and use regular Sharpie markers. I modified a printable seating die with tubes for the markers but once the depth was set right to draw the lines, the pointed tip of the marker would catch on the case rim. To get around that glitch, I found a parametric spring loaded battery holder by Entity325. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3824557 Turns out, a Sharpie fits perfectly in an inline AA battery holder sized for 2.18 batteries with an 11/32" hole in the end of it. On top of that, the holder fits into the large marker opening on Eben3004's hub with just the right amount of friction to be depth adjustable but still remain in place. The round being pushed through the opening can push past the case rim because of the spring mechanism in the battery holder. I grabbed a .45acp bullet seating die by pastera: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3968879 and modified Eben3004's hub to allow the die to be press fit into the bottom of it. Now, once the Sharpie depths are properly adjusted, I can scream through marking any calibers I have as fast as I can push them through the hub. Should work with anything equal to or smaller in diameter to .45acp.

I printed a coupler with a fitting that attaches to an old CPAP hose I had laying around so the rounds come out the bottom of the press to a somewhat soft landing in a box on the floor.

Pro tip: Let the marker lines dry before you try and handle them. And wear gloves.
