Print-in-place rod end for Afterburner & Variable Nozzle

Linus3d's model is amazing. I wanted to print the rod ends and Dan Lee's model was perfect, but printed M3 rods to connect the ends turned out to be too fragile. In order to avoid sourcing metal M3 rods, I remixed the model so it fits the petals and ring perfectly while being strong enough to deal with the rotation.

Printed on a Voron 2.4r2 with a 0.4mm nozzle on a PrusaSlicer default 0.1mm height profile.

  • Supports enabled (build plate only)
  • 0.1mm for best result

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Remixed Dan Lee's M3 Rod End into a print-in-place tie rod perfect for the Afterburner & Variable Nozzle.
