Some makers of the original model noted that the arm can scratch the side panel of the printer during installation. To remedy this, I've added a 3D-printed TPU cushion that sits between the arm and the side panel.
The cushion model must be printed from TPU. Any hardness ought to be fine, I used 95A. Print with 0.2 mm layer height and whichever patterns suit your fancy. Infill is irrelevant because the model is only 3 layers thick.
For instructions on printing the arm from the original model, please refer to that post. Fwiw, I printed mine solid with 3 perimeters from PETG.
To install, insert the cushion's two protrusions into the corresponding holes on the arm. This holds the cushion in place on the arm, so the rest of the process is the same.
