The design is from a 3D scan of Still Water. Still Water is a 2011 outdoor bronze sculpture of a horse's head by Nic Fiddian-Green, located at Marble Arch in London, United Kingdom.

All credits goes to prenonpadrix that created this beautiful base for the horse head but did not create a remix so the files are hard to find - they are in his comments.

The only thing I did was publishing the G-code and the PrusaSlicer Project file to allow for an easy reprint. What I did to print it:

  • Moved the head slightly lower into the water to increase the stability
  • Moved seam to the back
  • Used variable layer height to get the best print details and a decent print time
  • Reduced infill to only structural parts
  • Added a draft shield to prevent (reduce) warping

Additional print parameters:

  • Print in ABS
  • .4 Nozzel
  • .15 mm print profile
  • No support required

Note: The cover photo is not mine. It is from prenonpadrix and is post processed with Acetone vapor. It also contains a wooden base. All files from his print comment are included in this remix.
