This is a simple yet effective door holder pin designed for AniOne dog boxes. It allows for easy opening and secure locking of the door with a spring-loaded mechanism. Just pull the handle up to release the pin and let go to automatically lock it back in place.

New Version!

As this model turned out turned out to be a bit inconvenient in daily use. So I decided to rethink the idea:

How It Works

  • The pull handle lets you lift the pin effortlessly.
  • The spring holder plate inside the box keeps tension on the pin.
  • Once released, the spring pushes the pin back down, securing the door.

Included Files

To make modifications or direct prints easy, I provide:
.3MF file optimized for Bambu Lab X1C
.STL files for universal printing
.SLDPRT files for SolidWorks, if you want to adjust or remix the design

Required Parts

You'll need a few extra hardware pieces to assemble it:
🔹 1x M6 65 mm screw
🔹 1x Spring (~9 mm x 35 mm)
🔹 2x M6 nuts

Installation

  1. Insert the M6 screw through the pre-existing hole in the dog box (above the door on the left side).
  2. On the inside, attach the spring and spring holder to the screw.
  3. On the outside, mount the pull handle and secure it with the M6 nuts.
  4. Test the mechanism by pulling the handle up and letting go the spring should push the pin back down.

That's it! A quick and easy way to secure your dog box door while keeping it easy to open when needed. I hope this model helps, and you are welcome to modify it to your needs! 😊
