Simple Merger of Two Excellent Models
(All credits to Pastanod and Luke96)

This design combines elements from two outstanding models to create a practical and efficient spool holder system. There are three printed parts included:

  1. A modified version of the HSW Spool Holder by Pastanod
  2. A modified version of the Spacer from the Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro Spool Holder by Luke96
  3. An End Clamp, based on the same spacer design from Luke96

Required Hardware:

  • 2 ball bearings (30x42x7 mm)

Print List:

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Slide one spacer onto the spool holder, followed by one ball bearing. It should fit easily.
  2. Repeat the process by adding the second spacer and the second ball bearing.
  3. Secure the entire assembly using the end clamp. It should provide a snug fit

Tolerances and Adjustments:

  • The parts fit well on my printer, which is not calibrated at all.
  • If adjustments are needed
    • Scale the spacers or the end clamp along the X/Y axis to increase width for easy sliding.
    • Adjust along the Z-axis to modify the fit for your spool.
  • If the HSW adapter isn’t providing a tight enough fit for your wall or additional stability is required, consider using the HSW Stabilizing Adapter by Der Hosch.

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Changed the size of the end cap to account for larger diameter due due bearings + added modified spacer and end clamp for assembly
