This is a quick way to mount the BIQU MicroProbe to your original style Satsana fan duct without reprinting the entire thing over again. It installs on the left side over the Satsana and also has a lower hole for the BLV linear rail mount.
There is just enough room between the Satsana and the probe to squeeze in a 2mm hex for easy assembly.
The probe offsets are -51mm in the X and -17 in the Y.
Two variants are included, one that uses the included hex nuts in the microprobe kit and the other uses 2.5mm heat set inserts.
The STEP files are included if you need to pull the mounting surface up or down. Fusion360 I find incredibly easy to modify this part with. The original Fusion 360 file was hacked up badly in the design process, so I will spare you.
NOTE FOR THE CR10S Pro V2 breakout board -
The MicroProbe V2 requires a pull up resistor - you can set that in Klipper or Marlin, it does not not have to be physically installed. There are however two things that pull the Z end stop signal low.
The IC (removed in the picture) pulls the Z endstop low - this must be removed.
The pull down resistor is shared by the X+ stop and this must also be removed.
You will have to de-solder the tiny little resistor and IC shown in the picture or it will interfere with the signal line attached to the X+ endstop.
BEWARE: run wires into the case, the Z endstop on the breakout board is 24v! You will destroy the microprobe.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
