Built this as a proof of concept for a waterproof housing using printed TPU as an o-ring.
Holes are to fit a 2.5 screw and has 3mm in the lid and about 2.5 mm of threading. O-Ring is to be printed in TPU. I test by printing 2 and filling1 with red food coloring and the other with a paper towel.
V1 Didn't work. Going to adjust model and see if I can make it better
V2 Is up, realized the mistake I made. Will test tonight.
V2 worked flawlessly for holding liquid in and for keeping liquid out. I had one that failed after about 6 hours but that was due to a small issue with my extrusion width. Adjusted and tested again with excellent results. Now using this method for some project boxes that will be outside.
