Scrub Caddy – Magnetic & Suction Cup Versions

The Scrub Caddy is available in two versatile models: Magnetic and Suction Cup. For added flexibility, a small suction cup adapter can be quickly 3D printed to convert the magnetic version, eliminating the need for a full reprint.

Design Improvement

In the original Scrub Caddy model, the mouthpiece unintentionally acted as a bowl, allowing water to collect. To improve functionality and safety, I’ve completely removed the mouthpiece. The eyes provide more than enough support for holding the scrubber securely, and this update also reduces print time and filament usage.

Magnetic Version

• Designed to hold 6x3mm magnets securely. ( Amazon - VSKIZ Refrigerator Multi-use Neodymium Magnets ).

• For best results, apply a small amount of superglue to prevent the magnets from slipping out and potentially scratching your sink or appliance.

Suction Cup Version

• Features an additional module designed to fit a Lowe’s-branded medium suction cup (Hillman Clear Suction Cup).

• Ideal for affixing the caddy to sinks or other non-ferrous and delicate surfaces without risk of damage.

Adapter vs. All-in-One Suction Model

• The suction cup adapter allows you to convert the magnetic model to a suction-mounted version easily.

• The all-in-one suction model sits flush against surfaces, while the adapter adds a small amount of extra height.
