I assume different dimensioning at Westfalia hook so I needed to redesign. This cap locks in, just push a little bit. I added a video here. Video shows Version v4.
Version v5 has increased chamfer for easier removal. Preferred version !
Generally, for removal of cap you have to do it like you remove the hook from your car, means pulling and twisting the knob.
