Mechanical door lock (child, pet)

Sometimes a door or a cupboard doesn't have a lock or the key is lost. We have a resourceful dog, cat or small child who shouldn't enter a room. Or we just want 10 minutes of peace on the toilet.

This is where this adhesive lock can come in handy.
I designed it for double-sided adhesive.
I apply a thin layer of nail polish to the plastic surface before applying the double-sided adhesive. This helps the adhesive stick a lot after it dries. The small cylinder is there to prevent the small lever from being pulled out of place.
Install it in a way that it is not constantly under tension, as this will pull the adhesive off.
