I got a lamp for my bedside table, but it was way too bright so I made this adjustable lampshade.

There are two parts, and they are oriented in the STL file the way they are supposed to be assembled, not how they are supposed to be printed. You'll have to split the parts and lay them flat. No supports required. I secured it to the lamp by putting a thin ring of hot glue around it.

The inner disk should have 90 degrees of motion. It likes to pop out a little when completely open; this is becasue I removel the thin strip of plastic in the sections close to the edge. I oriented the disk so that “up” gave more light and “down” gave less light, but you can reverse this by flipping over the inner disk.
