ⓘ Real pictures are coming soon!

The BUFFER UNIT is a premium rewindable spool holder for the MMU3/MMU2. It's compact and easy to use, opposed to the official clunky setup for the MMU. Compatible with the Prusa MK4, MK3, CORE One, Original Prusa Enclosure and more

This model provides the parts & assembly for mounting the BUFFER UNIT specific for @Voxel3D:s COREBOXX.

→ You can buy the BUFFER UNIT itself by clicking here!

Update 18 April - Hole position

The M3-screw holes have been moved forward 10mm, preventing the side modules from hitting the frames.

Setup for COREBOXX

The COREBOXX officially supports the BUFFER UNIT. Sander and I have collaborated closely to offer a premium spool holder alternative for his great enclosure.

The BUFFER UNIT itself can snap onto specially designed brackets that's secured to the bottom acrylic panel. You can therefore install the BUFFERUNIT one spool holder/module at a time, making installation way easier. The BUFFER UNIT also supports the same 686 ZZ bearings found in the COREBOXX's blurolls-kit, so you don't need to buy new ones.
