Do or Do Not Disturb Door Hanger Cube

Monday: “You didn't come check on me all day! You don't love me!”

Tuesday: “WHY DO YOU KEEP BOTHERING ME I'M BUSY LEAVE ME ALONE.”

Wednesday: I can fix this with a 3D printer.

It's like a do not disturb sign to hang on your door except with four sides so you can express more feelings.

Sides slot into the base, top sits on top, a screw holds it all together.

I used this tripod screw for putting it together. Putting it in initially was pretty stiff, but it quickly loosened up a little bit. Holds nice and tight--I actually had to use a proper screwdriver to get it in and out.

The sides are simply 50x50x2mm plates with whatever you want on top. Easy enough to throw together whatever best represents your mood in TinkerCAD or similar. Throw in a filament change (or two) when slicing if you want to get fancy. I got good results enabling “Ironing” to smooth out the face of the sign. (I've included the gcode of the faces for the Neptune 4 Pro I'm printing on that have the filament changes and ironing all set up.)

For me it all printed fine without any supports, adhesion, etc with my usual 0.2mm layer profile. I included a “test top” and “test bottom” that are cut down to the only two “hard” parts of this print (loops on the top, screw threads on the bottom) so you can verify your settings and that your screw will fit and hold it together before you commit to the whole thing.

(To the lone person that downloaded this before I noticed--apologies, I'd accidentally uploaded an older version of the bottom model that didn't have the additional bits to help hold and align the signs. Sorry.)
