A few members of my modelling club asked if I could come up with a 3d design to keep their 3 Swann-Morton scalpels safely together on the workbench.  With my trusty Tinkercad flashed up I came up with a basic design which allowed for the scalpels to be slid backwards and the handles safely grasped for use.  However, I soon realised that they all too easily slid out of the holder once you wanted to move the whole thing. Hence, I came up with a lid. This solved all the problems, giving a blocking base wall to prevent scalpels sliding out, and a semi circle to aid removal of the lid.  As a final thought, I added a window to allow you to see what scalpels were inside, and to see if you were missing any that may then be lurking on the work space.

The basic holder is for 3 Swann-Morton scalpels and is designated as small in the files.

I did have to produce a longer version to cater for members who used Xacto type scalpels. This allows for 3 Xacto type scalpels and 1 Swann-Morton.

Easily printed without supports. Basic profiles either in PLA or PETG.
