I was playing around with AI and created a few cool skulls.

Here you have Skull 17 which is really long and has long spikes.

The colored picture is a picture of the original model file, vertex painted and rendered (with Blender). The picture in single color is to show how it can look if you do no paint job at your print.

Take a look at my other models, there are a lot other skulls.

I recommend for printing:

  • at least 3 perimeter with 0.4 or 0.6 line width
  • 10% lightning infill with 2 connected walls
  • Use supports for the prints. I usually use tree supports from 45 degree
  • Brim e.g. 3 lines (for good adhesion of the supports)
  • Auto orientation plugin in Cura → I added a picture from Cura where i sliced skull 1 in 200% scale and used auto orientation. This saved 1 and a half hour printing time.

Would be happy to see your makes!

To prevent any shitstorm: I know, not everyone is happy with models, which are AI created, but if you dont like it, you dont need to download it. A lot of people like those models and for the decoration purpose, it makes no difference, if it is created by hand or AI. Creating a good model with AI will also take time and the rework in Blender also, it is not just creating and sharing. Keep that in mind and be respectfull in the community.
