I wanted to upgrade to a BMG since I was experiencing Prusa issue #602 (Voron issue #6) with my stock creality extruder.
After searching the internet for mounts I noticed that other mounts were either rushed, didn't match the original design language or didn't include a STEP file.
I've tested this in a couple prints now, works just as well as the original Drivinator.
Hardware needed:
As with the original Drivinator no extra hardware is needed to install this, although I've noticed that BMG clones don't come with long enough bolts. You might need three M3x40 bolts.
BMG clone:
I didn't want to spend $95 on a genuine BMG so i bought a $6 one from AliExpress. This mount should work with any BMG version, whether it's a clone or not. Just beware that you'll need to calibrate your E-steps since it's a geared extruder.
Note:
You do need a longer piece of PTFE than with the original Drivinator, this is due to the nature of a BMG extruder.
The author remixed this model.
I moved the stepper motor mount to accomodate the difference in the filament path compared to a stock creality extruder.
