Functions

The watch winder keeps your automatic watch running when you're not wearing it. It's ideal if you own two watches and wear them alternately. 

  • independently adjustable for both watches
  • adjustable spinning direction according to watch requirement
  • adjustable spinning time according to watch requirement

  • 22 pcs. Hex nut DIN934 - M3 (Link)
  • 22 pcs. Flat Head Screw ISO7380 - M3x6 (Link) (IMPORTANT: Head Height max. 2mm)
  • 18 pcs. Flat Head Screw ISO7380 - M3x10 (Link) (IMPORTANT: Head Height max. 2mm)
  • Jumper cables for connection
  • USB cable for Arduino Uno

Tools used for development: Arduino IDE and Autodesk Inventor

Code

see Code.ino. It includes descriptions for each section. To change runtime, adjust Step2Take value in the code.

 

Printing Instructions

prints great in PLA and also in PETG with some post processing of the parts. Simple open the 3MF file. It includes correct orientation and supports.

 

Assembly Instructions

For assembly please see the included pictures and especially the exploded view. I have also attached a .step file with the main parts.
