This brick trackside industry was designed to roughly line up with 50 foot box car doors for it's two track side doors. The bricks are as close to scale as can be reasonably printed (~15% oversized vs a real brick). This structure has no real world equivalent is was modeled to look visually similar variety of of brick structures. Scaled up, the full width portions would be ~40 feet wide (interior);with the partial width section being ~26 feet wide(interior). The 2 floor section features brickwork on all four sides and can be utilized as a standalone structure or in any combination with the sorter sections.
Note 1: the Rail Door and wide windows are not fully interchangeable due to a difference in opening height
Note 2: Due to a brick height of .4mm and a mortar line height of .1mm, the recommended layer height is .1mm for the printer to produce all horizontal mortar lines (can use a .2 for first layer and things will still line up)
Note 3: the chimney is likely to always print somewhat off as I could not find a way to model around a sloped brick surface that would print with no issues.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
