All models are designed to print without supports.
You can print on smaller printers like the Prusa Mini. Everything is made to fit on an 18x18 print plate.
For the tray, you can choose between a low or high version. The lower one is for cases where it just needs to catch some water if it pours out of the cups. The higher one is for use with self-watering plants or similar needs that require more standing water.
The tray and, especially, the cups are designed to be stackable. Once your seedlings have grown, the cups might not be needed for some time. I wanted to avoid large plastic seedling cups that cannot be stored easily.
Each cup requires four bottoms. There are three different versions—I like the striped one the most because it prints faster and has the same effect. However, you can also choose the one with circles, which has essentially the same functionality. The closed bottom can be used as a template for your own bottom design or simply to slow water drainage. Keep in mind that the closed bottom is not sealed, so some water might still leak out. Please use a tray if placing it indoors.
