The hinge for the plexiglass door is mounted on a V-slot (recommended 40x20) and is fully adjustable along multiple axes. The hinge operates very smoothly.

I used 6mm plexiglass for this project and 40x20 V-slots. The knob I used is this one.

First, loosely fit and screw the hinge into the target position. Then, place the plexiglass underneath it and adjust the hinge position accordingly. Mark the drilling points on the plexiglass to ensure proper hole placement.

You need to drill holes in the plexiglass. Wood or metal drill bits are suitable for this purpose. I used a 3.5mm drill bit to allow for some flexibility, but 4mm or 3mm should also work fine.

There is small part to reduce pressure of screws on plexiglass

Required screws for single hinge (as in photo):

  • 1x m3 50mm (exact, hinge)
  • 4x M3 8mm (for t-nuts)
  • 4x M3 14mm (as holder for 6mm plexi)
  • 4x M3 nut (I used anti-loosening screws)
  • 4 t-nuts (can be 3D printed like this)
