I've replaced the stock CLS49-350-24 power supply from my Creality K1C because it was very loud. The swap with MeanWell LRS-350-24 is very simple because the Creality power supply it's a clone of LRS-350.

After replacing with LRS-350-24, the fan was still loud so I redesigned an old model (used on my old Ender3 V2) to fit the K1C. This model uses an 120mm fan to cool the power supply. And yes… it's a lot more quieter than the MeanWell.

You have to use 4 x M2 Heat Set Inserts (max 4 mm length), I used M2*3*3.2 for the sides of the model (used for screwing the lid to the power supply).

Keep in mind that the CLS49-350-24 uses a 24v fan and MeanWell LRS-350-24 uses 12v to power the fan. Both have 2 wires.

CAUTION!!!

  • DO NOT PLAY WITH THE POWER SUPPLY IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING. THE VOLTAGE OF THE CAPCITORS CAN KILL YOU!!!
  • USING THIS MODEL RESULTS IN THE INABILITY TO USE THE METAL BOTTOM LID!!!
