Description

PDF

These x-ray markers are used to identify the side of the body shown in the radiograph. There are 3 designs and two variations:

  • Designs: L, R, arrow
  • Variation: Open letter design (print using a high contrast material at high infill), or closed base design (print using a low contrast material and fill the gap with something high contrast).

The models are 25x40 mm, which can be used as a size reference (check that your printer/slicer/materials are properly calibrated).

I have included a sliced version of the open letter designs as an example, but please check that you are using the correct materials for your application. (The sliced version has the letters upside down so the build plate texture will be on top.)

Printing instructions
  • Choose the right material for your application:
    • The open letter variation is intended to be printed in a high contrast material at high infill and used as-is.
    • The closed base variation is intended to be printed in a low contrast material at low infill and filled in afterwards with a high contrast material.
  • Print the .stl file as oriented, or upside-down, if you'd like the build plate texture on the top.
Notes
  • If you'd like any changes (e.g., overall size, etc.), please message me and I'll see what I can do.
