Too bad that supports are needed on the lid. Apart from that: Perfect chest!

Worked great!
printed well even on draft mode
I printed it at 50% with 0.2 layer height in PLA. When I tried to close it the hinges snapped. Does anyone know how I can fix it?
(It seems like a problem with how I printed not the model because everyone's here seems to have worked.)

Printed very nice, made a MMU print out of it. My son was very happy, thanks for sharing ;-)

That looks sick! If your kid picked the colors, tell em they have good taste 😊
Great model. Only issue as others have stated is the bridge overhang on the lid. Mine isn’t colored so it actually worked out for a nice contrast. If it were a multicolor model might’ve been a different story. Printed in PETG so the lid clasps can flex and in all honesty is the filament I’m trying to dial in

Very slightly remixed it to add our webseries logo on the front.
Printed at 100% scale with Prusa Galaxy Black filament and then painted with acrylics.
With organic supports.
The only issue is the overhang at the top of the lid, but it's not big deal to me.
Thanks for sharing.

I scaled them down by 25% so they’d fit on the Gloomhaven board (and they hold the delicate traps in storage so well!) and they came out exactly as I’d hoped. The miniature size made the handles fiddly to print and attach, but I love the little detail!
I had some issues with the top that touched the bed because it was a large overhang between the two bands, but you can’t tell when they’re in the board, so no big deal. I also had some warping, but that’s more likely on my end than the model. Using brims mitigate a lot, but not all. I think I ended up using twice as large a brim as I usually do and closing my enclosure, even though I was using PLA.
I really like the satisfying little click they make when you close the tops! The hinges are still going strong after months of use. I printed six of them for the game, so I’ve got enough to rotate unless the scenario requires multiple chests, but I’ve definitely used all of them multiple times. Overall, I’m glad I went with these for our game. There’s something special about being able to open a tiny chest!
Thanks for designing!
