The parts are well desighned and prit good without any need for supports. Assambly works well.
In my opinion, a hinged top lid is simply essential for the successful printing of certain materials. It also facilitates better maintenance and servicing of the printer.
I believe this MOD is so successful that it has inspired numerous further extensions, and I myself have moved beyond the original design to enhance it according to my own needs. 👍

@CapCap_4637696 Than you for the review. It looks like you are using the original vent slide handle, even though you have upgraded to the Core One+ (the plus opens to the left, and the original opens to the right). Part of the upgrade requires flipping the vent so that the automatic vent control g-code will work; if you want automatic operation, after you flip the vent use the following Core One+ vent slide handle:

@Tada_3359523 That looks good. It appears that your vent is reversed; on the Core One it opens to the right, and on the Core One+ it opens to the left. You could either flip the vent (left-to-right), or you could print the following vent slide handle for the Core One+ (it opens to the left and allows automatic vent operation if you decide to upgrade to the Plus version in the future).

Really good idea with flawed execution. It looked like a great weekend project to make access to the print head easier, so I started printing. During assembly I realized that the screws go straight into plastic and almost as expected two parts broke. Sure, I could've been more careful, but there are better options than this. I have created a remix using heat inserts, but you could also place an opening for a nut at the bottom. Thank you for providing the STEP files to allow for these modifications!

Great. Front warps a bit, tried printing multiple times, but seems to work ok
I've built a franken-cover version. I've used the corners, slider cover, and thumb grips from this model. The slider handle I used from the core one plus remix. The straight bars I used from the 20x6x2 magnet size remix. Everything was printed using recommended settings with the Core One plus printer, and orange and galaxy black PETG Prusaments. Everything fitted perfectly and I can say, it's the best thing I did to my printer.
@therealkjmd_2960288 Excellent! I like that there are variations of parts for this (what’s the point of customizing your printer if you can’t customize the modification too…one size does not fit all).
@Martin_4489039 Looks nice, but I see that the slide handle is blocking the vent holes when it is open, because that handle was designed for the CoreOne (non-Plus version). The CoreOne+ vent opens to the left rather than the right, so you need to use the CoreOne+ slide handle from the following link; it will also allow automatic vent control in addition to manual control. Only the new slide handle needs to be replaced; all the other pieces are the same.
