This is a remix of the priming sled by Brooklyntony for the Dart Zone (Adventure Force) Aeon Pro X. This functions the exact same as Brooklyntony's and uses the exact same hardware (1x m4x20mm screw and 1x m4 nut. I found that his design, while more visually appealing, would flex too much to successfully prime under hefty spring loads, namely the Dart Zone strong spring with two spacers- even at 100% infill ABS
For a successful print, I printed this at 50% infill with 5 walls in ABS, but most plastic types at that infill and wall count should suffice.
The files here do not have the “Sunnoh Dartworks” text on them-that was just for my personal build.
This is ONLY attachable where the sled and handle are on the RIGHT side of the blaster.
Brooklyntony provided the installation steps quite nicely, but I will write them here just in case. (This is ONLY for the side prime sled conversion, not the rest of the kit. For that, go to his page.)
-remove the 4 screws holding on the top priming slide on the APX. Save the two shorter ones (that connect directly to the plunger tube) as they will be used to install the side prime kit.
-place the m4 nut in the hexagonal hole on the inside of the priming sled
-align the sled to the blaster. The notch on the slide should slot nicely into the notch in the bolt sled.
-use one of the shorter screws extracted earlier to secure the sled to the blaster (the m4 nut should touch the blaster, held in between the sled and blaster shell)
-place the priming handle on the peg on the sled. It only goes on one direction. Then place the m4x20mm screw in the slot in the handle and screw into the nut.
-use another of the shorter screws to secure the plunger tube retainer to the other (left) side of the blaster directly into the bolt sled- where the screw originally was. This reinforces the whole assembly.
The blaster should now function just like before but to prime, you pull (underhanded is the best grip by my testing) on the priming handle instead of the entire top slide.
If you remix this, please CREDIT BROOKLYNTONY (and me if you want lol)
The author remixed this model.
I made the plunger tube retainer larger, lengthened the grip part, and added a major reinforcement triangular part onto the sled
